As far as Beethoven's sonatas is concerned, I'd rather see a rerelease of one of the two Arrau's integrales ! As the master demanded to be recorded in quadrophonic as soon as he try it, it would make sens to see Pentatone released his performances !

I hope the Prokofiev isn't the 3rd Piano Concerto--we need a knockout 2nd! (The one on BIS is good but perhaps a little tame.)

Any new "Quadro" releases in the future? I really enjoy hearing those old Philips recordings in Quad.

It seems to me, after the last 2 busy years with the Wagner project, that this is a very quiet year for Pentatone. If you look at the release planning page on their website, the are very few releases in the pipeline.

Judging by the premature? email I got today it seems that maybe, just maybe, they are soon going to start their hi res downloads shop on their site. Just keeping my fingers crossed that they will after all this time do it right and include both stereo and mch DSD downloads.

Me too. Would be great if they could tap into the EMI back catalogue of 70s quad recordings, there are many titles I woul love to buy.
