I know this question has been asked before, but has anyone heard "rumours" or more reliable information about a third batch of RCA Living Stereo SACDs? I am now registered on the Living Stereo-SACD website
http://www.livingstereo-sacd.com/index.jsp
and note that one or two people appear to be losing patience with this matter and are in effect being ignored when they seek information about it. There is some thought that, with BMG now being owned by Sony, any further LS SACD issues are unlikey.

Any definite information or thoughts on this would be appreciated.

From the lack of response to my query, I must assume that nobody knows any more about it that I. The LivingStereo-sacd site is continuing to be coy about it so I am seriously beginning to wonder whether they are contemplating ending it all here and now. Perhaps the sales overall haven't equated to the effort and cost put into the venture, so it hasn't been a commercial success.

I'd obviously love someone to tell me that I'm completely wrong and that another batch is on the way! There is S-O M-U-C-H that could still be released. I've suggested a list on the site, and others have done the same that have included recordings I had overlooked

The recently announced reworking of the Sony/BMG classical division has probably put a temporary halt on releases. Both labels have released almost nothing in the last month or so, and seem to have equally little planned for the coming months.

That was what I feared. Nevertheless, it would be nice to know just how the "Living Stereo" project fared.

I visited the livingstereo-sacd site earlier ths evening and it appears that another batch of "Living Stereo" discs will appear in August, followed by a fourth batch near the end of the year. Obviously good news, even if it means something of a wait. Unfortunately, there was no news about recordings involved in either batch.

I'm assuming the news is valid, because the person involved stated that he had written to Sony/BMG and that was the information he received. I'm still intrigued that those running the site aren't the ones keeping us informed.
