that's odd. I got a delay message too, but only on Synchronicity. (Which I ordered later.)
I ordered "Who's Next " pretty much the night they went up.
Even though, Synchronicity is only a week delay:
We have just received an update from
the distributor.
The release date of the following item(s) has been changed from 2010/06/23 to 2010/06/30.

On my cdjapan.co.jp account, all of my orders are still showing 6/30 *EXCEPT* for "Who's Next", which indeed is showing 8/25.
So it looks like, so far, only "Who's Next" has been delayed.
But, I'm certainly going to look into this. This is the one I really wanted and, hopefully it won't turn into one of those infinite delays.
I've got a line to some folks who will (hopefully) know what's going on.

I ordered Who's Next from HMV Japan the only title I really wanted, got the email saying it had been postponed to 25th August also, would love to know whats going on. Hope it is not a no show disc and is actually going to be released rather than a catalogue item. universal do not have the best results for release dates and none appearances of supposedly available discs

My Amazon Japan order still shows 28/05 as shipping date for "Who's next" and "Aja". I placed the order on 14th of April. Amazon Japan web site changed release date for "Who's Next" to 25 August. Maybe first batch has sold out or "Who's Next" has indeed been delayed, and amazon hasn't updated the status of my order yet.

Got my notices for Aja and the Velvet Underground.
I wasn't convinced that these weren't vaporware in the first place. Wonder if they were waiting to see what kind of "pre-order" responses that they got before the manufacturing process?
I'll believe they are real, only after holding it in my hand.
