But it's a lot better than the original cd release. I don't own a turntable so I can't compare it with the vinyl version. Maybe you do own one and it will be enlightening to read the comparison to the vinyl version.

To be forthright and honest, this sacd is a very good version and overall beats the MFSL but I felt falls a little short of being a "reference demonstration material" because of leaner bass compared to the MFSL version. Nevertheless, I'm still giving it 5 stars for both sonics and performance.

Thanks for the review, Sonny!

Thanks. Just pardon the grammatical errors and simplistic terms.

Do you own the original cd ? Cause it sounds pretty fantastic.

My SACD is not here yet, but I would be suprised if it is alot better than the original cd.

Yes, I have the original US release, aside from the MFSL version. The latter easily surpasses the former in terms of sound quality. But overall, the Universal SACD eclipsed both of them.

You sound a little confused. :)

The SACD does sound pretty great, I would not go as far as to say the SACD eclipsed the original cd, not nearly. Both have merits.

I have not heard the mfsl, but I have heard more people say the original cd beats the mfsl by a landslide.

I'm not confused. I mean what I said. Everyone's have their opinion although very few have identical sound systems. I wasn't blessed to have the best system possible, I'm not that rich nor predisposed to expend much money on systems. If you disagree, it's okay. Hear for yourself when you got hold of the sacd version. Maybe you'll have a different opinion.

Did you read above ? I do have the SACD and I don't have a killer system.

It doesn't take a super system to hear differences in masterings.

You just have a totally different take then what most think about the pressings mentioned and just suprises me, thats all.

In that I have to disagree, in my circle of friends and acquaintances, which actually is a small community here, majority choose the MFSL over the earlier cd release. I rest my case.
