Hey guys and gals, more of this racy stuff and we'll need to sign in by proving we are over 18. I have never bothered with that on YouTube. Any poster who's video is hidden behind that so-called adult security has lost me as a potential viewer. I even came across some classical music sites like that,no idea why but make the most of that if you will. Maybe it was DSD at home listening to Rachmaninov?

Make that Shostakovich 5th..

PS Dont ask...

If I am alone and listening to music I also tend to listen in the dark (but with my clothes on) but laid flat on the carpet so that the music literally pass over my head. Just as I am being transported by the music inevitably the cat enters the room and sticks his claws in whichever part of my anatomy is nearest. nudity is not an option in those circumstances!!!

At work I have discovered that some music sites have been blocked by our intranet (closed to the public) network. So while I was trying to look up something on Beethoven I got the message blocked unsuitable site, but I could get into adult themed sites if I wanted make me think our IT people hate classical music but are into hedonism, they should get their priorities sorted out.

Before putting on an SACD I shift a couch across the room but that's because it would otherwise occlude a speaker. I really ought to get taller speakers, or use stands.

Paul
Is that the picture of the room that won some art prize recently?
or Is this picture demonstrating the undoubted benefits of surround sound without all those extra wires.
I pressume you are listening in stereo as there are only two cushions?.
or Is this a picture showing the Last Sony Sacd player (the white thing disguised as a radiator) or are those upside down plantpots A new sonic isolation platform idea?.
I must admit that spec of dust on the carpet does tend to make the place look untidy.

Maybe I have ADD but I like to listen to music while reading the newspaper, especially something that I have listened to before. I like waiting for the music to grab my ears and pull my attention away from the paper. If that doesn't happen, I probably wasn't in the mood to listen in the first place.
