Im sure it was answered here already but I need confirmation, I am buying the Marantz SA8003 2 channel SACD player, I was told that ALL SACDs have the high rez music, meaning if you buy a 5.1 multi channel it still has the 2 channel as well. and if you buy a hybrid that too has the high rez 2 channel recording, I was told ALL SACDs have the high rez 2 channel. any help.... PLEASE

Yes, they do. However, there are a few exceptions.

Verdi: Requiem - Giulini

Content: multichannel

tells me there's no SACD stereo; in fact, none in this series has SACD stereo.

Alkan & Chopin - Job ter Haar, Vaughan Schlepp says:

Content: multichannel/stereo which tells me it has a stereo and a surround programme.

If in doubt look at the disc description and the review (if posted); if still in doubt, do ask!

On the right rear corner of the cover/case above the bar code you will find

DDD
DSD
and in a "text box":
Stereo
Multi-ch

If the word "Stereo" is missing then the disc only has multi-channel content - unless in the space where usually they say "stereo" you see "bi-channel" instead. That was typical of some early stereo-only "Praga Digitals" SACDs.
