"Great" I'm not sure, but if you'll settle for "very fine" I'll add both Szymanowski's, Johan Kvandal's Op. 52, and both of George Lloyd's (one for violin and strings, the other for violin and winds, each is much more compact and less lyrical than the symphonies).

Walton's violin concerto is probably my favorite violin concerto.

Two that I admire: Film composer Miklos Rozsa's violin concerto. This concerto served as the basis for Rozsa's score for the film "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes". AFAIK, not on SACD, and not a lot of choices on RBCD.

I also like Respighi's Concerto Gregoriano, likewise unavailable on SACD and scarce on RBCD

Good topic. In addition to some already mentioned, here are some of my favorites: Barber, Bloch, Bowen, Casella (on SACD), Englund, Karlowicz, Linde, Martinu (1 & 2), Myaskovsky, Nielsen, Peterson-Berger, Rosza, Rubbra, Schoek, Vainberg/Weinberg, Weiner (1 & 2). Yes, I was being selective (I have many more 20th century Vln Ctos in my collection). Also, I don't do atonal.

The Linde is available on SACD. I warmly recommend the Dutilleux violin concerto on RCO Live.
