These sold very quickly as well. I now have more Alison Krauss and Union Station Live SACDs BRAND NEW and SEALED for sale on ebay. Item # 180423467981
It really is a phenomenal sounding disc. I have seen them live on the Lonely Runs Both Ways tour and it truly sounds like this in person. Just a marvelous group of world class musicians. You can hear a pin drop when they are performing and then the audience erupts when they finish!

The SACD contains 2 extra songs over the DVD (Down to the River to Pray, There Is a Reason). However the SACD is identified here as 4.1 channel (no center channel) while the Amazon listing of the DVD is Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1 and stereo. Also the SACD is 3 to 5 times the price of the DVD and has no video!
Can anyone A-B compare the sound of the SACD to the DVD and is it any better? Worth the premium despite one less channel and no video?

I am sure there'll be a 5.1 blu-ray in DTS Master Audio shortly and that will be THE version to consider! 106 customers on Amazon [US] rated the DVD of Alison Krause and Union Station LIVE 5 stars and one can buy this 2003 Rounder release for as little as $11 from Amazon's vendors. I know it doesn't have the versatility of the SACD but at this juncture beggars can't be choosy!

Alot of stuff never made it from VHS/LD to DVD. But it would be nice to have a better picture than the 1080i I watched on cable TV. I can always dream...
