It is not accurate to say either is best. The music on the disc is digital, but it has to be converted to analog to hear it from the speakers. If your SACD player has analog outputs, the D/A conversion takes place in the player. If you are using HDMI, the digital signal will be passed to your receiver, which must perform the D/A conversion. ... more | |

Not to insult anyone but the standard CD tray can hold 2 discs on the spindle, which kinda obviates the need for a flip tray. The discs should not rest on each other, since the center hub is a little fatter than the optical surface. I have read that when they press the discs they are stacked prior to going into jewel boxes. ... more | |

The SACD contains 2 extra songs over the DVD (Down to the River to Pray, There Is a Reason). However the SACD is identified here as 4.1 channel (no center channel) while the Amazon listing of the DVD is Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1 and stereo.
