Yes, I'm waiting for Caiman to list this one! Dave Hurwitz gave it a good write-up.

I have all of the Lloyd syms on RBCD. I have enjoyed them very much and their RBCD sound is just fine - I have no desire to duplicate them with the SACD releases (especially since I listen in stereo - might be different if I did MCH). My favorite - Sym 5. Mark

I found the sound on the SACD version of TROY-498 to be so much improved over the CD I'll be happy to replace my complete set.

Peter - I usually have a pretty long list of CD's I'm looking to buy. I REALLY don't want to add these - but now you have me thinking about it. UGH! Mark

Mark, I'd be surprised were new recordings of Lloyd to appear in the near future, so I'm happy to have these conducted by the composer in better transfers. I'm hoping the Lyrita recording will reappear, too. Meantime, Dave, I've mailed Claire at Caiman to check that they supply the SACD.

I don´t get it, maybe I´m a fool. This music is so boring. A third rate symphonist with pieces that outstays its welcome. Meandering is the word I seek, I think. Like Bax without the talent. One or two good ideas, but no more. Am I wrong? If so, please enlighten me!
