"I'm sure a Talking Heads DVD-A ought to be included, I can't decide which one."
Remain in Light. The polyrhythmic sound combined with Eno's production was made for hi-rez 5.1.

The Talking Heads Brick should be in everyone's collection, IMHO. Too bad it's OOP and commanding BIG BUCKS!
Derek just about nailed it. LOVE should also be on every Beatle fan's list even though it does take certain liberties (hell, it was a soundtrack to a live performance) and ALL of Steve Wilson's current remixes are superb as are almost all of Audio Fidelity's recent QUAD reissues.
I will compile my own list but Derek has done a stellar job of including some of my favorites. I would also add Donald Fagen's wonderful DVD~A 5.1 of Kamakiriad.
And even though it's 'suffered' from poor reviews over the years, on my system I lOVE Miles Davis: Kind of Blue. Sounds utterly fantastic!
Another 'sleeper:' http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/6a/f0/9a/6af09a1b8d11ec5efe9c7b56d06bd0b5.jpg
Great album and superb use of 5.1! Available as either a Dualdisc or DVD~A 5.1.

Thanks for the heads up on Rambient. I opted for the cheaper Dual Disc version to see how it goes.
I thought about including the Monster Music DVD of Sketches of Spain in my Other list, but I prefer Kind of Blue as an album, even though the surround mix on the former is much better, and the Kamakiriad DVD-A is great too; On The Dunes, what classic that is. Man, working out a Top 10 is tough!

I'm playing it now and man, that's a strong contender for a place my Top 10. The Listening Wind in 5.1 in particular is out of this world and would've made a great 20 minute epic, although thankfully, The Overload flows nicely from it.

MY BAD: I didn't realize Nightfly made it out as an SACD 5.1 disc.

In no paticular order
Eleanor McEvoy: Love Must Be Tough Creedence Clearwater Revival: Green River Spyro Gyro: Deep End Tomita: Ultimate Edition Planets Renaissance: Scheherazade Vangelis: Blade Runner Patsy Cline: Greatest Hits Elton John: Elton John Roger Waters: In The Flesh (disc 1) Dan and The Electros: It's Never Too Late
Kudos too Blood Sweat and Tears "A Child Is a Father To Man" and "Supersession" haven't had them long enough for a good determination.
I'm surprised to see 6 stereo SACDs but I listen in Multi-Channel stereo for all stereo discs. I find Dolby and DTS processing inferior.
