"Castor's review of the Brahms 2 makes me even more hungry for this disc!"

Agreed! Nice review, Castor.
One of my favorite recordings of Brahms's 2nd is by another great Hungarian conductor...Georg Solti and the CSO.
I am definitely looking forward to spinning this one from Fischer and the BFO.

Just got mine this afternoon, along with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta's Argentinian Album. Just getting into it, but at first exposure: It's great. The relaxed attitude on the "sunny 2d" really works. And as always, Jared has captured the orchestra beautifully. Read Castor's review, and go for it!

In May we are releasing the Mahler 9th. Just finished editing and it sounds fantastic!
Hoping to have the Brahms 4th released in the Fall. (or Tchaikovsky 6th. Let us know what you would like to have after the Mahler.
In September we are recording Mahler 7th. Fans are welcome to come to the sessions in Budapest!

How about Howard Hanson's #2?

Or some Bartok, or, Scriabin?

That all sounds great . Am extremely pleased to hear M7 will be recorded as well, was indeed hoping for that; and I look forward to the Mahler 9th.
Personally, I'd love a Brahms 4th for the Fall

Keeping with Brahms... a lot of people are interested in having modern, multichannel recordings of Brahms's piano concertos no.1 and no.2.
