Regarding the CDJapan FREE shipping 'option' on SHM~SACD/SHM~CD/Blue Spec titles, etc: BEWARE: Some of the lower priced SHM~CD reissues are NOT eligible for FREE shipping. When you click onto a specific title, CDJapan will indicate when and if free shipping is applicable.

I ordered among some SHM~SACD titles four lower priced SHM~CD titles and was hit with an 1100 yen shipping charge.

They will, however, apply the bonus points to your order (in my case NOT too many)!

As Christmas is rapidly approaching, I am always looking for esoteric Xmas music and ordered from CDJapan Jon Anderson's (of Yes) Christmas album "3 ships" originally on the Elektra label on SHM~CD (priced at $10.84).

I ordered: SHM~SACD: Fairport Convention Unhalfbricking; Van Der Graaf Generator: Goldbluff; SHM~CDs: Jon Anderson: 3 ships; Donny Hathaway: Extension of a Man +1; The Spinners: Spinners and Aretha Franklin: Young, Gifted and Black.

Another HOT recommendation. From Classic Records DVD~A Stereo 96/24 series. Lorna Hunt: "All in a Day." From $8.98 NEW @ AmazonUS. A Stunner!

HOT, HOT, and HOTTER: From Monster Music: Anjulie. The DTS 5.1 will knock your socks (or whatever) off. The bass on the first cut is mindblowing. Also has a 96/24 DVD~V Stereo Audio Track. From $19 NEW @ AmazonUS

And while you're at it, pick up Lee Ritenour: 6 String Guitar Theory.......Fabulous 5.1 DTS surround also from Monster Music.

Billy Gibbons new CD Perfectamundo is great. Very cool video and good solid guitar rock.

Please you all should buy it, great music and band, I promise you. I bought the RBCD, but I am thinking of buying the HDTracks Hi Res 24/44.1 it's on sale today.

Also before I get into The Beatles controversy I am going to warm up the speakers with the new 5.1 Yes, Fragile.

There are so many versions, needle drops, stereo mix, multi channel mixes, you got to be a real Yes freak to listen to them all. I'll just listen to the Steven Wilson 5.1 remix.

Perfectmundo sounds like a no brainer purchase, Markie. Thanks for the tip.

In today's mail, I finally received David Miles Huber's Parallax Eden, the Yes Fragile Steve Wilson BD~A remaster, and the Opeth Box set: Deliverance and Damnation. Disappointingly, the Opeth DVDs are DTS and DD 5.1 (and NOT MLP DVD~As) but at least they both sport hi res 96/24 Stereo tracks. Also received the Fiona Joy SACD "Signature-Solo" which just received a 4 1/2* review @ Audiophile Audition.

And before I commit to the $30+ Stereo SACD import of Chet Atkins "Sails....." I bought the el cheapo RBCD SONY remaster (it was under 5 bucks and actually sounds fantastic).

Should keep me busy for awhile.

Tonight and with much controversy, Donald Trump is hosting Saturday Night Live. That should be interesting in and of itself. If he gets into the White House............the shit will really hit the fan! Slot Machines in the oval Office??????

Oh man, have you got choices tonight !!!

Donald in the White House would make an interesting double act with Boris (an extremely quirky, eccentric, divisive, but bizarrely likeable MP who's a front runner to be the next leader of the Conservatives; ergo, next Prime Minister of the UK) in No. 10 !

Boris and Donald....the NEW Dynamic Duo, Derek?

Maybe, instead of watching Saturday Night Live, I should watch my newly acquired 4K BD~V remaster of Edward Scissorhands with Johnny Depp. What could be more bizarro than that? At least it has a bouncy Danny Elfman score in 4.0 hi res surround!

BTW, Derek, LOVE Parallax Eden. Will give it another spin tonight.

Equally enjoyable and a great Christmas movie: the NEW 4K BD~V remaster of Tim Burton's "Edward Scissorhands." A GLORIOUS and totally unique Burton/Depp collaboration with a wonderful Danny Elfman score. I purchased the gift pak (for $1 more). The BEST it has EVER looked on home video.

Donald Trump bombed (I'm sorry) on Saturday Night Live. AFAIK, SNL has 'coasted' on reputation rather than substance for far too long. FIRE all those crappy writers and get some new blood, Lorne Michaels. Even the great Larry David's guest appearance couldn't save this MESS.

John Belushi, where are you when we need you? http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/09/arts/television/review-donald-trump-on-saturday-night-live.html?src=se&_r=0

Glad you enjoyed Parallax Eden Ralph; my favourite is the Berlin 5.1 mix. Of DMH's other multichannel releases, Colabs and Chamberland (available as 5.1 DTS-CDs), the latter is best because I feel Colabs, being a collaboration with other artists is diluted DMH and imo, he does is it best when he does it alone.

It sounds like Edward Scissorhands was needed on SNL to cut cardboard off of the blonde bombshell lol

Does anyone know if "Tusk" - Fleetwood Mac, will be available as a single hi-res disc ? Can't find anything to suggest so ?

No word, as yet and there's still no word whether it will be an MLP DVD~A 5.1 as originally remixed for Warner's aborted NO show release.
