Dunno how useful this is (maybe if you want to test out your receiver functionality) but here's a page where you can see Blu-ray Audio titles by their codec/resolution:

/resolution

The data is currently incomplete so if you spot omissions, let us know in the usual way (namely 'report errors').

Very cool Zeus/Polly.

BTW, you've both done a masterful job of integrating BD~A into the site.

BUSY, BUSY, beavers!

Cool!

That said, I was under the impression that Blu-Ray can't handle 88.2, and thus that 88.2 sources are generally upsampled to 96 kHz. I could be wrong about this, and I see that Corigliano: Symphony No. 3 "Circus Maximus", Gazebo Dances - Junkin is listed as having 88.2 stereo and surround programs. Could someone check that disc?

Edit: Apparently this was discussed a few years ago here - /showthread/63216/63516

I'm posting this here rather than report errors because I want to confirm, and because if so would be a site-wide issue to be aware of.

Thank you!
Great news!
Could be even greater, if concert Blu-ray videos were included!

While it's a 88.2kHz recording, the back cover doesn't say what the encoding is. I've left this blank for now.

I don't think concert videos should be included. This is an audio only site, correct?

Even though I am a major proponent of BD~V, including concert discs, I agree with SAM.

It's a music site, first and foremost. Enough feathers have already been ruffled by THIS change ( by including BD~A) and Zeus/Polly have a lot of work ahead of them with the impending onslaught of BD~A titles (SONY/WARNER coming on board, soon).

Blu~ray.com which covers worldwide BD~Video (including accurate Region coding info) is the site to visit for ALL things BD~V!

Hi Rammie
I understand and respect what you and others are saying, but I personally would love to see concert BDVs and operas included here.
Including pictures is crossing the Rubicon, and I'm sure if ever is a while off, but there is so much great stuff that we could talk about.
Just in the last month I have got a new production of Peter Grimes live on the Aldeburgh Beach and Barenboim's Verdi Requiem from La Scala - both wow!

Confusing to have BD audio disks on here as well.

Is it possible to at least mark the thumbnails differently and perhaps use a different color/banner for the BD audio disc detail pages?

How do we submit Blu-ray Audio titles to the SA-CD.net database?

Elton's Yellow Brick Road Blu-ray just arrived and its really something rather special in Stereo.

I haven't tried the 5.1 yet but I expect it to be the same as the old SACD)..

..the Stereo however is brand new and its absolutely wonderful.. I'm just itching to tell you all here more about it..!!!

I agree. Should also mention they are doing the BD-A stuff as well (and reviewing) so that if you keep inventory of anything blu, they can store it. great site.
