Am very interested in Godard...

Louis Aragon wrote for JLG's 'Pierrot le fou' :
Je voulais parler de l'art. Et je ne parle que de la vie.

For Anna Karina's Nana in 'Vivre sa vie' Godard had her watching :

* Gorgeous new transfer of the original version, with digital restoration
* Richard Einhorn’s Voices of Light: A choral and orchestral work performed by vocal group Anonymous 4 soloist Susan Narucki and the Radio Netherlands Philharmonic and Choir

With its stunning camerawork and striking compositions, Carl Th. Dreyer’s The Passion of Joan of Arc convinced the world that movies could be art. Renée Falconetti gives one of the greatest performances ever recorded on film, as the young maiden who died for God and France. Long thought to have been lost to fire, the original version was miraculously found in perfect condition in 1981—in a Norwegian mental institution. Criterion is proud to present this milestone of silent cinema in a new special edition featuring composer Richard Einhorn’s Voices of Light, an original opera/oratorio inspired by the film...

As easy as it is to thoroughly reply to 'hooperthom' Thomas /showthread/116166/116307#116307 (and various others), it'll have to wait.

Meanwhile, I recommend you read or translate the full Aragon rather than just the following excerpts :

He is quoting you in his latest photo. That should be some kind of back-handed compliment. I find his posts rather unreadable, but the Fellini-esque quality of them strikes my funny-bone.

Or, to translate:
He is quoting (you [in his latest Collection] that should be some kind of Continual [Global] support of SA-CD.net). He drives me to Action but not to Read--the Discussion of which tickles my Criterion.

Yeah, but not everything incomprehensible is art. Sometimes it's obnoxious or downright frightening. I'm not for censorship, but moderators, perhaps you should be on the qui vive for such rambling posts/threads. They don't sound that healthy to me...

Indeed.

Based on what I've seen of these series of threads, OP seems quite OCD and/or psychotic.

Where's the Moderators??

More akin to James Jocycian Stream of Consciousness!

But you're correct Joseph: Ulysses meets 8 1/2!
