Man, this artwork design is so lack of any imagination!
I would rather they will do what AP does: use the original artwork.

I do find it rather tedious myself but the artwork is a holdover from their 24K Gold RBCDs which showed up the Gold discs in all their glory. But all hybrid SACDs are Golden in color, so perhaps it's time to change printers and/or hire new graphic designers.
The same criticism has been waged against MoFi's changeover from SACD cases to cardboard replicas of the original albums but at least it's easier to store them but can't seem to find plastic covers to protect them (the ones I did purchase from Elusive disc (made in Japan) specified they were made for these covers but try as I might can't seem to get them to fit).
Ironically, a lot of collectors don't like the new mini boxes for the SHM~SACDs, but IMHO, they're very classy but again, pose a storage nightmare for some collectors.
But in the end, it's the music that REALLY counts!

Then for a meat and potato (or Sushi and Beans) type guy like yourself, FD.....I have good news. HDTT offers bargain DVD~As without outer cases and liner notes for $7 each (96/24 from Open Reel Tapes). Same sound but without the glitz.
Problem is rammiepie never bothered to download the liner notes/album art so they sit in a pile in the shipping boxes they came in.....in their little poly sleeves!
Aesthetics, my man. Plain and simple.
Just hope you're not seen in public wearing plaids and stripes....together......or a tie dyed kimono!

There's a vendor on e-Bay selling "SHM-SACD covers" which are excellent quality with the sealing strip but don't have the SHM and SA-CD logos on them. These fit the Mofi's extremely well and are not dear considering the quality so you might consider giving them a try. I use them on mine with great success.

How did you find these covers at EBay? I 'googled' the words 'SHM-SACD covers' at EBay, but got only some SHM-SACD titles...
