Curious ... May I ask how do you know which ones are 24/96? I have noticed that the newer recordings sound much better, but I can't find any mention of resolution on the boxes. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place? ... more

Actually, not. If it was recorded digitally in 1991 at CD resolution, then placing it on a SACD disc will change absolutely nothing at all ... All you can ever hope for is to get as close to the master as possible, and if the master was a 1991 CD resolution recording, then that is all you are buying: a CD ... which is fine if you want the CD.
