I saw in Raffells' post in another thread (yeah, I decided to start a new one) that this was coming out. The producer of this recording is Bayer Music Group, and according to their Web site they have 9 catalog items. This site seems to show only two - is there a gap?

Does anyone have any experience hearing Wildner in the flesh?

Bayer's titles are issued under the Amati, EBS and Bayer labels ... and filed here accordingly.

Tream, havent heard him live but he's made a few records for Naxos over the years, incl Bruckner symphonies, Cosi and other Mozart. He also conducted the excellent Nazos recordings of the Weber and Spohr clarinet concertos.
I have 2 ebs SACDS, the Brahms Double concerto cond by Wildner and the Bruch VC 1 & 3. Sound and performance on both are good, certainly acceptable, without being great. B

Whilst I am quite ecstatic about seeing this set come out by whoever and I am glad none of the works seem to clash with other sacds,, I started thinking about missing works on sacd which I would like see issued...Dont we all..? Rather than another version of anything already issued...Wont mention Dvorak..
What seems to be missing as I suggested before is a Piano / Orchestra collection with Franck Symphonic Variations / Litolfs Scherzo A Lizst work of the same ilk etc etc .There are numerous other small works for Piano / orchestra that could be listed. These tend to be performed less at cioncerts now....Dave
