Find it hard to credit this new listing. Since when did Warners re-enter the SACD stakes? The amazon and mdt listings just show CD.

The same questions also apply to the new Britten Requiem on Warners and the Isabelle Faust recording of the Bach conats and partitas on Harmonia Mundi, also both listed by amazon and by mdt as a CD,

Does the person who listed these own copies? Does anyone else have this who can confirm the listing info of "hybrid SACD"?

It looks like someone is playing games with the submission process and I'd suggest that all three are removed from Recent Additions.

They are all listed as Japanese releases and may be genuine, most likely produced for the Japanese domestic market, albeit by different Japanese labels. The Faust/Bach release seems genuine and appears to be already issued; it's single layer only, like

The Art of Arcanto Quartet .

You need to get out on the Internet more often!. These have been listed on prominent sites since early September including Warner Classics Japan.

Warners re-entered the Japanese Classical SACD market in September of 2012 with a set of 20 analog reissues from Erato Telefunken etc

Neither Amazon nor especially MDT have at any given time a complete inventory of SACD releases.

These Warner SACD releases are a little surprising given the internet rumours about Warners getting into the blu ray audio market. Stereo hi-res downloaders of these albums have been listening to them for weeks.

There is a tie up with Harmonia Mundi and King Records at the board of directors level. King Records, as others have noted have released under license a few exotic box sets and collections of Harmonia Mundi recordings i,e, the Arcanto Quartet 4 Disc Box Set, recorded in high resolution but not released on SACD.

There is also a 3 disc SACD set of Faust and Melnikov licensed from Harmonia Mundi EAN:4909346006782 HMSA-0020 Complete Beethoven Sonatas for piano and violin released on the 10/10/2013 11,970 Yen not yet listed here (ASIN: B00EYTLH9Q for anyone who cares)

The connection is this: one of the managers from EMI Classics Japan now works for Warner Classics Japan - after the Universal buyout of EMI, Classics was sold to Warner's.
The same people who were putting out EMI's new recordings as local Japanese SACDs are now putting out EMI / Warner's new recordings as local Warner Japan SACDs. In all cases, the audio passes through our hands at Abbey Road first.
Hope this clarifies things.

For those of us who do not read Japanese is there a practical way to obtain this in SACD?
