Does anyone plan on comparing the 2011 SHM-SACD release with this new release from Analogue Productions?
Im curious as to why they're rereleasing another remastered SACD only two years after a previous release?
I don't have the 2011 release and am willing to purchase whichever one is better. Thoughts?

I plan on ordering the APO SACD this week. I have the SHM-SACD, MFSL gold disc, Audio Fidelity gold, and a couple of others I can't quite remember now. It's pretty ludicrous how many copies I have, but it IS one of my favorite records of all time, so maybe I get a pass on that one! :)
I'll report back once I do the comparison. Maybe in a week or so.

Cordobaman has pretty much nailed it on the head in his review. Another great release by AP with excellent sound.
But still... I wouldn't mind having a proper Mch mix of this Classic.

I think the multitracks for Sweet Home Alabama, at least, are lost. That's why it wasn't on "Southern Surroundings."

That explains it. This one still rocks, though.
