What is Desert Island Discs ?

This may well be my last Post.

Stephen and John has taken into account complaints ; imposed a 100 word daily limit on me.

Okay.

My choice, to take an indefinite absence ; of which, music is connected to every thing.

Pardon :
I know more than I can express in words, and the little I can express would not have been expressed, had I not known more.
— Vladimir Nabokov

Best wishes to you.

Wilhelm, knowing how important both music and self expression have been in your life, I for one, know what a cathartic experience it must have been to post on SA.CD.net.

Lolita's author, Vladimir Nabokov's beautiful words ring true but, as in all things, sometimes an economy of words suffices.

Hoping your beautiful life continues and that your love for music and self expression flourishes.

You always have a home at SA.CD.net but in 100 words, or less, perhaps that economy of expression will endear you more to the posters on this site who may have been put off by the effluence of your posts.

Peace, my brother.

Ralph

(Another beautiful photo)!

Wilhelm's "effluence" perhaps has less in common with Nabokov than James Joyce's stream-of-consciousness.

Poetic justice, I'd say. Pithy expression is always appreciated. Verbosity is a bad habit.

Most especially as applied to rambling eulogies in a darkened church!

If you can't say IT in five minutes.............

Does a picture count as a thousand words? One word? I wonder if each word inside the picture gets counted as a word? Really, I don't know how these penalties work.

Joseph, I was under the impression that "penal colonies" were abolished years ago!
