I will patiently await the 'higher vibration' of the Steve Wilson 5.1 remasters but of course, am curious, what the reviews of this stereo SACD box will uncover.

Wonder what the DR scores will be on these reissues?

+1 too.

Bets are open ?

I'll say a general mean of 10 out of 20.

It can't be done: SA-CD dynamics cant be measured by the tools that are used for 44,1kHz/16bit. By downsampling you lose all transients. therefore you can measure the image you can obtain from CD-layer of a hybrid. thats my point of view.....All the Dylan SA-CDs or Stones ABKCO releases sound very impressive. Although they cannot compete with new DSD recordings of course. However as I said before it is worth wait for proper releases done by Mr. Wilson (fingers crossed).

You got a point, Sylvian. But SA-CDs analyzed by the DR Database website are sampled at 88.2/24... which is still downsampling, I grant you that, but yet downsampled in hi-rez with an even denominator of the 64fs DSD. And with 24 bits, dynamics should be preserved. So I guess we can get a pretty accurate approximation this way.
By clicking on each title, we can get some detailed info regarding this.

No - very unlikley that I will. I have Steve Wilson's DVD-A MCH mix on pre-order. I'll keep my eyes out for any other such releases rather than have stereo-only SACDs.

There even is a 176.4/24 analysis sometimes, as visible here : http://www.dr.loudness-war.info/details.php?id=38547

Refer to this page, pls: http://xiph.org/flac/format.html
compare it with this, pls: http://www.dr.loudness-war.info/index.php?search_artist=&search_album=sacd

I do not own/heard John Mayer but I do have listened to Schoolboys in Disgrace by the Kinks, and I utterly disagree with the dynamic assesment 8/8/9.

Especially when you are referring to CTTE, the Schoolboys sound much much better and not so flat as CTTE does.
