I got a chance to visit the recording sessions for this on a recent trip. The live sound was magnificent and I await this with great anticipation.

It's good to see that she has included some works that have not been released on SACD format before.

I have three of her albums and enjoy them a lot. But the album I am really waiting for most of all from Channel Classics,is the upcoming BFO Fischer Mahler 5. Most recent promise from Jared is October.
For those who read French there is also an interesting article on Channel Classics at
http://www. audiophile magazine.com reportages/channel classics/
I found especially the following quote quite interesting reading:
"Le Mix/Mastering chez Channel Classics
Autant annoncer tout de suite ce qui me semble être l'un des clés technologiques de la qualité des albums de Channel Classics: c'est l'ABSENCE DE MIX/MASTERING après la prise de son.
Quelle élégance pour la résolution d'un problème!! Ne pas avoir à le résoudre."

I have a copy of the original session file of this and it is spectaclular. It will be interesting to see how it compares with the general SACD release.

Oh please!!! Google translate??
après la prise de son does not mean "after taking his".
It means "after the recording". "Prise de son" means "taking sound" = recording. "son" could also be a pronomen, meaning "his", but then it has to be followed by whatever it is that is "his".

I found it rather amusing too. That's why his next translation challenge is the sentence I left in original German.
Here it is again from the other thread in case someone interested in translating it correctly missed it:
"Vinyl für anspruchsvolle Musikliebhaber."
Quite an interesting article though imo.
ps the English word is actually pronoun "pronomen" is Swedish. Chris :)
