A while back, someone posted that this series had been cancelled due to loss of funding. However since that time there have been additional Haydn recordings by these forces released, although only of choral works. I am sure many of us would like to see the rest of the London symphonies recorded.

Yes, and two more well filled discs would complete a noteworthy series. Poor Haydn, he still seems to get short shrift (not that he had anything musical to do penance for).

Most are covered by other labels thankfully and the RCO's "Military' is a stand-out imho.

Hi fox. Can you direct me to the RCO Military? I have the Netherlands CO on Pentatone, but can't recall coming across an RCO recording. None is listed either here or on amazon. Thanks.

I receive this answer from ARS produktion today :
Vol 3 kommt im Herbst raus...
(Vol 3 comes out in the fall)
Die erste Hälfte der vol 4 ist schon aufgenommen – die zweite Hälfte kommt im Frühjahr ins Konzert
(The first half of volume 4 is already taken - the second half of the concert comes in the spring)

Sorry, wires crossed No 88 & No 99 have been released but not 100. SCD's Military on Philips vinyl is superb so my wishes clouded my judgement! Hope I didn't send you off on too much of a wild goose chase.
