Hey everyone,
I'm glad to be a part of this forum.
Recently I started rebuilding my CD collection after selling it off for a digital only collection. Needless to say, I missed the sound quality and physicality of my collection.
I also purchased a Sony BLu-Ray player that could handle CD's, DVD-A, and SACD. I own three of these SACD's: The Freewheelin' Dylan, John Wesley Harding, and now Dark Side of the Moon. Unfortunately, the Dark Side SACD will only play in DSD Multi, whereas the Dylan CD's will auto-play in DSD 2ch.
I do not have a surround system, just a stereo Sony amp hooked up with the standard audio jacks.
The Dark Side SACD sounds a bit thin. I'd love to be able to figure out how to get it to play in DSD 2 channel. My blue-ray player is the BDP-S590. So far, I've really enjoyed the Dylan SACD's, and I can definitely tell a difference in headroom between these SACD's and my regular CD's.
Thanks for any tips.
