Well I have to give this SACD my highest marks. I don't own all that many SACDs (I am working on it though), but this one clearly shines. The performance is excellent and I couldn't be happier with the musical content of the material. The multichannel mix is also well done more so than my other SACD whose Stereo channel mix going through the L7 processor of my H/K-7200 sounds better than it's multichannel mix. I gave it 5 stars for both sonics and performance but really it is more like 4.5 stars only because I don't believe anything can be perfect but this one is really close IMHO. If I had one complaint about the disc it is that it is not a hybrid disc. The disc is SACD only so without a SACD player you can't listen to it. I hope all manufacturers of SACD make the hybrid format the standard. I honestly hate the fact that I cannot listen to or bring a copy of the stereo track in my car. I highly recommend this disc.

Love this multi channel album. White's guitar playing is very cruzy, the backing muisc is wonderful as is the 5.1 mix. Top marks from me. This one is up there with the best in my collection. Yep, a cd layer would be nice - but it was labelled as mc only.

Peter White's Glow is a nice (easy listening) guitarjazz album. Wonderfull recordings and very enjoyable to listen at. The surroundmix is sublime with well placed instruments. It's a shame that Sony put this sacd version out of their collection.
