Sorry, but I have to disagree. While multi-channel can sound very good, it is by no means realistic except on some classical & jazz recordings where the surrounds are used for ambient details. Well, bully for you. I have a Rega Saturn cdp. It doesn't upsample and I've listened to quite a few that do. The Saturn run rings (pun intended) around every cdp I heard, including the upsamplers. Yes, it says SACD may as well be dead. Although a long time fan I have given up on them - sure if I ever see one I fancy I'll buy it. None of the stores near us stock them any more.
