Performance:   Sonics:
This is a great album. Eleanor has a great voice and this album contains some excellent songs. When ever I don’t know what to put on I grab this disc. One of my favourite SACDs, top three without a doubt.
The album is filled with what is best described as Singer/Songwriters songs. There is clear Irish influence on the album, probably because she’s from Ireland ;o)

Superbly crafted and well recorded folk songs from someone who is highly underrated. Highly recommended.

I got to know Eleonor McEvoy via an audiophile website (hifi.nl). I grew really fond of her down to earth singer songwriter style, her beautiful voice, the balanced instrumentation and the general atmosphere. All her records are SACD issues and of audiophile quality. I use Yola for testing loudspeakers and SACD players. Conclusion: Yola is not only an artistic jewel but even so a reference quality item.

Wonderful album full of touching songs that Eleanor has sung with passion. Highly recommended for its strong sonics and performance. One of the best SACD discs that I own.

Easily the best album Eleanor McEvoy has made musically and sonically - a masterpiece! In fact this may be the best pop/rock album sonically that's currently available. Brian Connor's keyboard and piano work is exceptional and compliments Ms. McEvoy's vocals to a "goose-bump" level. A must have SACD IMO and still currently available for a reasonable price.
