a nice mozert album for sopran. miah persson sings naturally and its good to hear a new talented sopran. of course she is not n.dessay or rene fleming, whose voices are just exceptional, but miah cuts a good figure here. interestedingly she sings the german and italian songs/arias without any nerving accent, altough is neither german nor italian! weigele conducts the swedish chamber orchestra just the right way mozart is to conduct: articulated cleary, without any pretence. the swedish chamber orchestra is a great chamber orchestra with a really sympathtic timbre. sudbin - one of my favourite pianists with his young age - play the piano part balanced and just right adapted to the voice of miah. his steinway sound is faboulus here too! the sound of the recording is just as great as all bis sacds i have heard till now.
