This is a magnificent sacd! I have a few Savall-cds and this one is my first AliaVox-sacd-mc.
The new recording gives a varied strength of instruments: flute, oboe, bassoon, violin and viola da gamba. There are four concerts, played on toplevel. I cite Couperin in the beautiful booklet: "I wrote them for the little chamber concerts commanded by Louis XIV almost every Sunday throughout the year."
My advise: buy it and every day will be a sunday.
The recording is very fine with a discrete spatial sound stage: expert work.
