I bought this disc because I've really been enjoying another one of his album. I like this self-titled works just fine, but it doesn't hold a candle to "The Door", either in sound quality or performance. I am a huge Skynyrd fan. Once this title was announced, I couldn't wait to get it...and I am pleased. Without a doubt the definitive version of this absolute classic album. Performance? A masterpiece for sure as we all know. Sound quality is the best that I've experienced for Close To The Edge. That's not to say it's not without faults. I am very pleasantly surprised with this title. Aside from the popularity of the music, I found the sound of the multi-channel to be delightful.
