Another wonderful DSD transfer by Hitoshi Takiguchi at Universal Mastering Studios in Tokyo, Japan. I am still astonished at the thought that Universal UK sent them an actual master tape - but that's what this disc sounds like it's made from. Thankfully DSD mastered to SA-CD by Hitoshi Takiguchi @ Universal Mastering Studios in Tokyo, Japan. Did Sanctuary England really send them "analogue master tapes"? Sounds like it! This DSD Mastered Hybrid SA-CD was released in 2007, but I ordered it recently and it arrived!
It is stereo only, but the sound is mighty. The SA-CD layer has 6 tracks, as does the original LP, but the CD layer has a 7th track, effectively a bonus track, which is good.
