Another title in the shm-sacd series, mastered by Kevin Vanbergen. Just as the Caravan-disc, this is another winner. I do not own any previous versions of the album (cd - lp) to compare, but sounds very good to me. |

This is really a wonderful mastered shm-sacd. The job was done by Kevin Vanbergen. Also the John Mayall shm-sacd was done by this person. After research I learned he also remastered e.g. the Depeche Mode sacd's and last year's King Crimson remasters. Everything sounds crisp, clean, detailed,... My ... more |

Another masterpiece coming from Universal Japan. This is one of my favourite shm-sacd's next to The Who (Who's Next) and 10cc (Original Soundtrack). This is reference-quality material. I don't own the original ABKCO-sacd. But this one sounds extremely good to me. Clear, crisp and full of detail. I'm really satisfied with the soundquality as well. They did a great job in my opinion. Great to hear a bunch of legendary musicians playing (and having fun) together (with so much detail).
