Iam surpresed how good is the sound in this SACD ( better than TimeOut/D.Brubeck and Kind OF Blue/Davis ) there is no a small bit of tape hiss, even close to the speakers.
For me it is the best album of the late Isaac Hayes and an of the best of the Soul Music. I note various SACDs of this ... more |

It is very good to have Proprius Records releasing his all wonderfull oldie catalogue in SACD.
This SACD is beautiful from the cover to the last note. A nice cover, a fat booklet, a very refined repertoire, appealing to the novice and to the expert, a soft and unique refined performance

Well, the sound of this album is awesome, there is no doubt about it, but it is very different of the AVALON sound. There is more treble and the hi harmonics are much rich, this made a nice pair to compare

Iam a real Tange fan. I never forget the cheap service Virgin Records made in recording many TD classic albuns of the Sound Landscape era, the best TD years for me.
