This is really amazing.. I was not expecting this disk to be soo good. The sound quality of the Harpicord is amazing and supercedes my previous reference, Bach: Goldberg Variations - Vinikour on Delos.

This is a nice SACD. Don't get too put off by the title, its not in the beeps and boops camp of 20thC classical. The first concerto is not bad at the start but I preferred the 3rd movement which was very pleasant.

Strangely I still don't know much about about Scarlatti, and I wish I did because I'd like to know where to find more music like this! Gentle but upbeat strings with the tinkle tinkle of harpsicord reminds you it is a lovely spring sunday afternoon.
