This has always been one of my favorate albums. I've owned the SACD for about 2 years and have played it many times. I find this SACD sonically reference quality. I am not a big fan of this type of music--a blend between blues, folk, and country--leaning more towards blues, but I find MacLeod's lyrics interesting and music enjoyable. I recommend this SACD. |

I've owned this for 2 years, but have only listened to it 2-3 times. It's recorded quite well, but the performance seems uninteresting to me. I prefer Muddy Waters, Doug MacLeod, and Keb Mo. |

I'm disappointed with this SACD. The sonics are CD quality. It's largest shortoming is that it lacks dynamics. Clarity is OK. In addition, most of the cuts/music are bland. The title tune is the only Top 40 selection. Not sure why this album sold so well. |

I got this SACD from a person who did not care for it. It has strong bass and realistic sound. The music seems lively to me, and true to its name, "Swing Live", is a live recording with crowd noise, etc. Still, the tempo doesn't seem as fast as some Benny Goodman performances.
