I find this SACD sonically reference quality. I am not a big fan of this type of music--a blend between blues, folk, and country--leaning more towards blues, but I find MacLeod's lyrics interesting and music enjoyable. I recommend this SACD.

I've owned this for 2 years, but have only listened to it 2-3 times. It's recorded quite well, but the performance seems uninteresting to me. I prefer Muddy Waters, Doug MacLeod, and Keb Mo.

I'm disappointed with this SACD. The sonics are CD quality. It's largest shortoming is that it lacks dynamics. Clarity is OK. In addition, most of the cuts/music are bland. The title tune is the only Top 40 selection. Not sure why this album sold so well.

I got this SACD from a person who did not care for it. It has strong bass and realistic sound. The music seems lively to me, and true to its name, "Swing Live", is a live recording with crowd noise, etc. Still, the tempo doesn't seem as fast as some Benny Goodman performances.
