I am sure that Air Supply must hold the record for the most songs that contain the word "Love" in the title. I guess that is approriate. To their credit, Air Supply never pretended to be anything but they are, a Soft Ballad group. I guess that deserves some respect.

After So and before Us, Peter Gabriel culled together 16 of his greatest songs onto one cd. Most people complain that "In Your Eyes" was not included. This was a personal decision made by Mr Gabriel and so no complaints here.

Props should be given to this disc since it was the first SACD of "The Planets". However, there have been several since that have easily surpassed this kind of dry rendition of this excellent composition.
While the sonics are not a disaster, they do not exhibit the traits that make SACD so special. ... more |

Sony hits a homerun with a great disc of the beloved 1975 broadway show "A Chorus Line". Highlighted by one of the best known ballads in "What I Did For Love", this whole disc is a treasure for those who appreciate the theatrical experience.

Oasis brought a revival of British Pop with their best album, "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?". Full of some classic tracks, like "Wonderwall", "Champagne Super Nova" and "Don't Look Back in Anger", I was really looking forward to this disc. I am afraid that SACD hurts this release.
