What?
This SACD achieves the impossible. It is warm, detailed, dynamic. It's easily the most amazing sounding album of all of the SHM-SACDs I have bought.
I cannot rate this highly enough. There are some great sounding Tom Toms on this recording.
I never owned this album previously and I LOVE it. |

OK I have to declare an obssession with this album. It was the first new album I bought - in fact after the warped second hand mono Sgt Peppers it was the second album I owned. This review is exclusively about the SACD disk and listening in stereo - listened to through my speakers and headphones.

I remember fondly buying every CD remotely of interest in the early days. I still don't know how HMV in Oxford Street came to have a Japanese version of Virtuoso but I bought it on the spot - even though there was only a token track listing in English.

Stereo set up only for me so all comments for 2 channel. I don't know if the 2 channel mix is similar or not to the originally released SACD. Some say yes others say no.
