I have to disagree with some posters' assertions that this is one of the worst pop/rock SACDs ever produced. I just got done listening to it in both SACD *and* redbook, and I have a hard time understanding all the vitriol. For my money, “Black Rose” is the best album Thin Lizzy ever cut, surpassing notables like “Jailbreak,” “Bad Reputation,” and “Chinatown” in one of the deepest and richest catalogs in all of hard rock and heavy metal.

I can’t add to the discussion on the multichannel, but I can comment on the two-channel sound. First off, I think it’s very well done.
