My experience with this "New World" performance dates back to the 60's when I obtained what was already an LP reissue on the American Heliodor label. Hmm. . . somehow I've ended up with a 24/96 download of the Karabits/Bournemouth recording of Symphonies nos. 3 and 7. I can't remember whether I got it from HD Tracks or from Pro Studio Masters (in Canada). I just checked a spectrograph of the last movement of the Third, and it shows a frequency range wherein the musical signals do occasionally ... more
