A wonderful album of timeless classics gets the loving care it deserves. When describing the audio of this SACD, the words that come to mind are analogue and warm. A real pleasure to listen to, the instruments in particular are very organic and the vocals are smooth. Highly recommended. |

The first thing you should know is that this SACD uses a 16 bit master, as stated on the packaging. There is a limited but noticeable improvement compared to the redbook disc. | Maybe your hearing just isn't that good if you can't hear the extra resolution of hi-res on the same mastering. I'll admit it's not always a big difference but it's certainly noticeable to me and I'm sure many others. So there's no need to make us feel like we're stupid or crazy if we feel differently. | Regarding Super Session, as far as I'm concerned it's one of the greatest albums ever made, and if you disagree... you've either never heard it or you don't listen to blues rock.
