It's amazing, the CD layer is better than Stereo SACD...The Stereo SACD layer is poor, flat...The CD is on the other hand well recorded and sounds good: 5 stars for CD layer!

Beware!This SACD has no stereo SACD tracks...Only multich SACD and CD-Audio tracks...So I give only a half-star for "Sonics"...What a pity! the CD-Audio tracks are really good...

A very good sound on this SACD...I think it is my best technical sacd record...

I've bought one SA8400 and it's a delight.Music sounds clear and fast from CDs... Dynamic is also pretty good...No troubles for reading "CopyControlled CDs" It's clearly a very good cd player...It's overtaking a Sony DVPN900 DVD player in playing CD and SACD...No doubt about that! ... more

On the second multichannel track of this album called "Django", at 2 minutes from the beginning, I heard distorsion on the guitar in my front loudspeakers...I've changed my loudspeakers to check and it's the same thing! Did you notice that? No trouble on stereo track... ... more
