this is an exellent recording. theres no artificial sound in the rear speakers. old school r&r. im playing it on my 10 channel Denon with denon link.mch pL2xmusic mode. it has a concert setting too. the sound is exellent so it gets all the stars

well I have this and read all the reviews first before playback. I was trying to fix the spacial ques for playback. I dont use the standard 5.1 playback. because theres more to hear on this disc with more speakers in different positions in front of me. I had adjust the volume in some speakers. to ... more

just use the other guys reveiw on this disc. Im not a classical fan. that gal has a nice voice. im glad I have more amps and speakers. the volume is a little louder than normal. but the recording is at a constant level. I think this disc sounds exellent. old school with no artificial reverb. played back nearfeild with 4 tower & 2 amps.nice speaker sound separation too. for 2 channel its recorded well. maybe its not recorded that loud because that disc just ended and metallica started playing in my changer. that ... more

ive noticed there are no reviews on this disc. cost a lot now too. I dont care for 2 channel but with more speakers playing it sounds better I have an unusual set up for sacd. denons 5910 digital link to a denon 5805 9 channel rec. before I new about dr scores 1 disc was so loud and crappy sounding id buy another hoping for better sound. it was recorded the same. motley crue saints of la.... the older ones sound better with a lower score. but I have some country cds with merana lambert & carrie under wood with the higher scores but they sound fine ... more
