I think it is part of the source material rather than it being a problem with the SACD. For instance, when I play the redbook CD from 2003, I can hear the cracks/pops but less audibly than on the SACD. I guess the higher resolution of the SACD highlights any imperfections. That said, I don't think the cracks/pops spoil the track in any way. In ... more
