| I am repairing a Xindak SCD-2 CD player that uses a Sony transport I'm looking for the flat jumper film cable that goes from the Sony laser pick up KHM234ASAA to the curcuit board. On the cable it says: E228339 AWM 20798 80C 60V VW-1 25 pins 26mm (1-1/16) wide 82mm (3-1/4) long 1mm pin pitch This will be the short wide cable in the picture. ... more | |

| HI everyone, Well, the Xindak repair is on going. I got the drawer working, and replaced the drive, but in the process I think I damaged the ribbon cable that connects to the laser assembly to the circuit board. | Wow guys, thanks for the info. Actually, this one will play fine....once you get the tray to close. The issue is it won't close all the way, but if you help it close, on a rare occasion the disc will load & play. Most of the time it clunks & clicks, then spits the disc back out, usually only halfway. My feeling is something in mechanism of ... more | |
