The four previous reviewers discussed the content on this disc and I agree with their conclusions. I have posted here to say this disc has lower output and requires you to "up" your volume setting more than you do for most discs.

Hi Arnaldo. My thinking: The Modwright mod gets one into tubes/tube rolling $$$, extra power cord, heat, more room for external power supply, etc. - and that's not where I think I'd want to go for my upgrade path. I've had tubes in previous systems, but now have downsized and keep everything SS for convenience and cost savings. Have you spent any ... more

I cannot justify the high prices that some SACD's command. I suppose the lesson is to buy SACD's when they're first released. I own the Queyras Bach Cello Suites which I love and although redbook-only the recording quality is very good. I have not heard (either of) the Suzuki versions on SACD, but maybe one day. ... more

No matter how much audio technology advances nothing beats live, especially orchestral, voice, and small ensemble. Of course 365/24/7 "in the privacy of ones home" is what rules.
