Originally purchased the Sony in 2002 just for use as a DVD player - had no idea what SACD was. Initial research indicated SACD's were very expensive, and very few were available in stores. Purchased a few, then lost interest in SACD by 2004. Have only recently re-gained that interest as a much wider range of SACD's has become available, and at much cheaper prices. I live in a rural area with no record stores, so have to buy everything online. Now have around 30 - mostly hybrid multichannel. Mixture of all types of music, but mainly classical. | |
