There is no audible hiss even when I played it at high volume. It excels at high volume. I don’t know how sensitive your ears are to the hiss. I remember the long gone days when I used Metal cassette tapes with Dolby C to copy those LPs that I could not afford. I can crank up the volume without increasing hiss when using Dolby C.
