I read the two earlier reviews and I have to agree with Beagle. But, I would give the record a better rating for sonics. It is in-your-face, perhaps over-miked. Listening to it right now. It's one hell of a disk. In typical Who style, they've given a push at the boundaries (of CD this time!). 91+ minutes of material! My guess is that SACDs will likely continue to hover around the 75 minute limit, simply so record companies can sell 2-SACD sets for twice the ... more

If you just bought an SACD player, make this one of the first 5 SACD titles you buy. The combination of 1) Inspired performance, 2) 1st rate composition by one of the all-time great composers, and 3) FANTASTIC SACD sound, make it a must-have. Add one more 1 star rating. The SACD sound is no better than CD. The performance is a classic, but really a disappointing SACD.
