This is not one of the better DM multichannel SACD releases. Violator is hands down the best, and blows away the others, including Ultra. Ultra is decent but the MC mix is uninspiring. Nice recording... but for some reason there seems to be no music from the center channel, only the front two and the surrounds. Strange, anyone else experience this?

Sorry if anyone got excited by the thread title, but I emailed LSO Live! and they said that there are, unfortunately, no plans to release SACDs of Symphonies 1&2. Makes little sense as they released Symphonies 3&4, but ah well. ... more
